I’ve decided to take part in Meatless Mondays by pledging to cut out meat at least one day per week.
Going meatfree one day each week is a powerful way for us to reduce our ecological footprint and reconnect with foods that are nutritious, delicious and cruelty-free. The Toronto Vegetarian Association’s Meatless Mondays campaign builds on an international movement that aims to connect me with the resources I’ll need to discover healthier, greener, more compassionate food choices. My Meatless Mondays will reduce my carbon footprint, protect me from common health problems like heart disease and diabetes, and help me incorporate more cruelty-free food choices into my lifestyle.
