“I have been vegetarian most of my life, and am quite aware of the environmental impact of our food choices. The health benefits of lowering animal based food consumption are well documented, and the personal economic benefits can be fairly significant as well. This initiative seems like a great idea to send the message to the masses, rather than just to those already following a more plant based diet.”
Bio: David Sinclair has two solo acoustic guitar CDs, “No Words” and “Acoustic Christmas”, which has twice been on The Province (Vancouver) ‘All Time Favorite Christmas Albums’ list. As a member of both Sarah McLachlan’s and kd lang’s bands, Sinclair has toured North America, Europe, and Japan and has appeared on television programs including Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, The Grammy Awards Show, and the Juno Awards. As a studio guitarist, he has recorded with countless artists and has played on and/or written for many TV series. Other credits include the Vancouver Symphony, and theatre productions including Showboat, Jacques Brel, Cookin’ at The Cookery, and Spamalot.
