Amelia Eats – Curry Dogs

Serves 6.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat gluten
  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 4 cloves garlic pureed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  • 1.      In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients.
  • 2.      In a small bowl, stir together the water, garlic, olive oil and soy sauce.
  • 3.      Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and fully incorporate.
  • 4.      Split dough into 6.  Take one and roll it out on to a small sheet of aluminum foil and form into a tube.  Wrap and then twist ends.  Repeat 6 times.
  • 5.      Put dogs in the oven at 375F for 25 minutes.
  • 6.      Allow dogs to cool.  Then BBQ or sauté when ready to eat!
